Autumn is in the air

It was this kind of day when air is so fresh, sun is shining from a clear blue sky and still the sun is quite warm. From my sleep I could hear her whistle again and she walked and walked... Then suddenly she stopped and said - all right sweetie, time for coffee and cake. I got a cookie too and milk. It was peaceful to sit there alone with mom and we did not say much. I wished dad was there too - but he had to work, mom said.
On our way back I did not sleep. It was so exciting to see all colours and leaves surrounding us. There is not much tree on Iceland but we were walking in one wood area called "Heidmörk"
Back home again we took a hot bath and of course I had to bathe my bunny again. It all ended up like last Sunday – me crying in front of the washing machine. Mom asked me when I was going to learn pink bunnies doesn’t like bathing...

It looks wonderful. I'm glad you had a wonderful picnic. Being outside while you can, while the weather holds, is definetly to be taken advantage of.
I sooo remember the kids days in daycare...all of the illness..and I experienced the same thing with my grandbaby. She brought home all kinds of nice stuff to share
;-)
Perhaps this winter I won't be so sick without a little "carrier" in the house :-) Altho I'll miss her immensley.
Yeah, right you are - at the moment I am red eyed, nose is running and coughing instantly...
Here in Iceland we are not particularly spoiled when it comes to weather. Normal for us is raining, 10 degrees C and windy. Did you know that Iceland has succeeded to marketing its tourism without any concern about the weather? It has become a very attractive place to visit and all tourists are prepared with warm clothes and raincoats :)
That's kewl about the tourism. I'll be Iceland is very beautiful and offers it's own brand of outdoor fun.
Feel better soon!!
